Due to the confidentiality and safety requirements of our work, we cannot engage volunteers directly with our clients. However, there are plenty of opportunities for you to volunteer. Many people have organized donation drives for our clients, including events for diapers, food, school supplies, and toiletries. We even had a local high school student ask friends to donate maxi pads and tampons to our clients in lieu of birthday presents.
If a donation drive is not of interest, you may want to organize a community awareness event such as a walk, an educational session, or a movie viewing with follow-up conversation.
